SPHERE TURNING JIG
STJ /1 -Is a unique ball turning jig that is well
engineered the base that clamps to the lathe
bed has a machined bronze bearing for smooth
and firm operation. The tool can be positioned
for turning convex or concave. The unit comes
supplied with 2 height bars (short bar shown).
The bars allow for centre height adjustment -
handle. The height can be set with the supplied
clamping collar. The replaceable high speed steel
cutter is positioned with a brass adjusting screw
& this can be locked in position with the yellow
handled clamp on top.
The clamps on the sphere turning jig, clamps all
the way around the bar & doesn’t mark the -
